Gorgeous.  Gorgeous sun-streamed day, gorgeous location, gorgeous couple.  You know those people who are as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside?  Yeah, that's these two.  I feel uplifted to have met them!

::sigh::  Seriously, look how sweet.  Newborn sessions are long because they are in charge.  If they need a break to eat, fall back to sleep, rock, wiggle, you give it to them and you take your time.  And when you do, you can capture precious moments such as these.  Congratulations on your birth, little guy!

 His grandmother was my trusty assistant, for whom I was very grateful.  This was one of my most favorite images from the whole session.  He knows already that she is someone special and dear.
